Asscher Diamond

Asscher Diamond Manufacturer

Bringing the best of two worlds together, the Asscher diamond is a ravishing blend of the princess cut and emerald cut. This step cut diamond that emits light beautifully and subtly forms X-shaped facets from its corners to its centre culet. While the emerald cut is predominantly rectangular, the Asscher cut tends to be squarish in shape.

The Asscher cut diamond was first introduced in the early 1900s and became hugely admired in the Art Deco period. The uniqueness of this cut lies not in its popularity, but in fact, in its novelty. The multiple facets of this fancy shaped diamond marvellously reflect each other from across the stone’s pavilion.

Loose diamonds in this cut display clean lines and a strong visual appeal that strikes a balance between vintage luxury and modernity. If you look closely, you will notice a windmill-like pattern through the surface of the diamond, with narrow triangles thinning down from the corners and merging in the centre. At Dharam Export India, we ensure every individual diamond is treated with utmost precision and care and is perfectly proportioned to reflect maximum brilliance.
